Near the Bercy bridge, opposite Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand, the pyramidal architecture and lawn-covered walls of the AccorHotels Arena overlook the Seine. The capital's largest auditorium, born Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in 1984, was completely renovated in 2015. It can accommodate up to 20,300 spectators in its thirty or so configurations, for concerts (national and international), sports competitions (tennis, basketball, motocross and even water sports) and major cultural events (circus, video games, etc.). In total, nearly 140 events annually attract approximately 1.5 million spectators.
