The beautiful days of summer are finally here, and it is time to take advantage of the most beautiful parks in France!
From the Raymond Poincaré bridge to the Gerland park, the banks of the Rhône river are waiting for you. The left bank has been recently transformed, and you can have fun there after your picnic lunch: playing a game of football or petanque, roller skating or simply relaxing in one of the available beach chairs.
The rehabilitation of the Confluence neighborhood (located south of Presqu’Île) is new and therefore less busy than the banks of the Rhône. You can settle in the gardens or along the embankment around the Stade Nautique.

In Marseille, you must have a picnic at least once in your life in the Jardin du Pharo. It has one of the most beautiful views in Marseille! The pleasantest garden in the Phocéenne city, you can set your picnic up on one of the vast lawns that make up this garden.
A bit unusual, but still a great idea for relaxing, is a picnic in an ancient prison! Visit the Château d’If via one of the waterway shuttles that depart from the Vieux-Port, and enjoy a relaxing time in the sun after your visit.
Many people agree that the Parc Longchamp is the most beautiful park in Marseille. Located near the Cinq Avenue neighborhood, you can spend a whole day without fear of being bored. In fact, the park is next to a very pretty fountain, the Palais Longchamp and the city’s Natural History Museum.

Despite all of the urban legends, I can tell you that it is possible to find magnificent patches of green in the heart of the capital!
In the very heart of Paris, you’ll be amazed by one of the most beautiful Parisian gardens: the Tuileries Garden. Accessible from the Place de la Concorde or from the Rue de Rivoli, this garden is alive all year long, with either cultural events such as the FIAC, or more festive events such as the funfair.
If you go towards the 12th arrondissement, you will discover the Jardin de Reuilly and its vast peaceful lawn! A few steps from the Place de la Bastille, you will find a little hidden corner of greenery, where you can have a snack before you go on a beautiful stroll through the Coulée Verte.
In the 19th arrondissement, the basin of the Villette is the largest artificial lake in Paris and connects the Canal de l’Ourcq to the Canal Saint-Martin. Go to the water side for a peaceful picnic with your family or friends!
