There is a great choice of festivals in France this summer!
With summer upon us, we have been in search of festivals that will be scattered throughout French holidays!
If you go to Antibes, you can see Nuits Carrées, who are going to rock the city from June 29th to July 1st in a totally unique setting in the heart of the city. For five years, the Label Note association has brought Fort Carré to life with the first environmentally responsible festival in the Alpes Maritimes. Three day of music, open to all, and free for children under ten. Park in one of the many Q-Park car parks in Antibes and take advantage of these fabulous evenings!
July doesn't let us down, the festivals continue, one after another, in every part of the country! In Albi, from July 4 to July 9, the Pause Guitare festival will resound throughout the city: four days of both music and performances will enliven the city center. Reserve your parking place in the center of Albi and you can take advantage of a guaranteed parking place, even if the car parks are full.
Return to Paris from the 6th to the 8th of July for the Fnac Live festival, which will once again invade the Hôtel de Ville in the heart of Paris for thirty free concerts! Showcased this year: Benjamin Biolay, Calypso Rose, Julien Doré and even The Pirouettes. Park safely and securely in the Rivoli-Pont Neuf car park, but, for the best price, make your reservations in advance on line.
From July 7 to July 15, dancers will invade the streets of Castres and tourists and locals can discover all kinds of dance from all parts of the world: it is the Extradanses festival. The Berges car park is located in the heart of the city, you should reserve your parking place there!
A few hundred kilometers from the dancers, return to Marseille, where a jazz festival will take place in fabulous locations throughout the city: the Friche de la Belle de Mai, the Sylvain Theater or even the MuCEM. For its 17th edition, Marseille Jazz, from five continents, will carry you away with the music. Park in one of the car parks in Marseille so that you don't miss the best moments of this jazz festival.
The month will end with the first performance of Lollapalooza Paris at the Hippodrome of Longchamp. An incredible program, with world renowned artists: London Grammar, Alt-J, IAM, Lana Del Rey and Red Hot Chilli Peppers! This legendary festival will have the hippodrome jumping on July 22 and 23, to thrill thousands of festival goers. The Bois de Boulogne car park is the closest to the festival; consider reserving a parking place there.
We will finish the summer in beauty, with the Bordeaux Open Air from August 21st to September 11th. For the first time, in a unique setting, several concerts and conferences on various themes will take place: festivals, music, etc. An out of this world experience that you can have under the Bordeaux sun. The Bordeaux Clémenceau car park is located only 10 minutes by foot from the Jardin Public (Cours de Verdun). Don’t forget to reserve your parking place.
As for the Parisian musical summer, it will close with the not to be missed Rock en Seine, in the Saint Cloud park, during the last weekend of August. For three days, no less than 120,000 festival goers will fill the lawns of the park on the banks of the Seine for the 14th edition, which is always anxiously awaited. This year, our music lovers can enjoy concerts by the charming Jain or even the great Fakear, but also the electronic group Delux or the incredible Franz Ferdinand. Don’t wait, reserve your parking place to be able to really take advantage of the last days of summer!
