National premiere: Q-Park and Toyota become partners!
Q-Park and Toyota become partners and offer to the owners of hybrid cars Toyota and Lexus a 30% discount in 124 parking facilities in France.
Because a car remains parked on average 95%* of the time, Toyota, pioneer and leader in the hybrid technology with more than 6,5 million hybrid cars sold in the world, contacted Q-Park, the second parking operator in France and in Europe with 190 parking facilities in 80 cities in France, in order to establish this unique partnership.
A flexible and guaranteed parking with Q-Park Résa:
From 20 June 2014 until 31 March 2016, every owner of a Toyota or Lexus hybrid car can benefit from a 30% discount for parking via any new Q-Park Résa online service (www.q-park-resa.fr), providing access to 15 parking facilities in 6 large cities in France - Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Antibes and Nîmes, located close to train stations and airports. Created to facilitate and plan traveling, this unique e-service launched in October 2013 now allows to the owners of Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles, by entering their licence number online, to benefit from an instant 30% discount for any reservation of a parking place from 30 minutes up to 31 days. After reservation and payment online on www.q-park-resa.fr, also accessible on smartphone, tablet or via the application My Toyota, the client immediately receives a QR code via email, which can be printed or saved on smartphone. The QR code, presented before the scanner at the gate, allows to access the parking lot where the place is reserved. The spot is now guaranteed as it is paid. The client can contact the call centre 24 hours a day and 7 days a week regarding any question.
The offer is also available with a membership:
The partnership also provides to the clients of Toyota and Lexus hybrid cars a 30% discount on the entire range of memberships in 120 parking facilities partnering with Q-Park, which are located in 49 cities in France. The client has to present his or her grey card to the parking manager. Because the usage bonus became a major challenge in the development of sustainable mobility, the Club of Environmentally Friendly Cars, represented for this occasion by its Delegate General, Marc Teyssier d’Orfeuil, supported the establishment of the Q-Park/Toyota partnership, which is a part of the mobility programme conducted in several communes in France.
For Michèle Salvadoretti, “This new partnership is the first one on the national level and it demonstrates our mutual determination to support the development of environmentally friendly cars and sustainable mobility. For Q-Park, the environmentally friendly vehicle symbolises technological innovation and respect for the environment at the same time, two values highly important for the group”.
“This unique partnership gives us an opportunity to offer in certain parking facilities a commercial advantage to the owners of Toyota and Lexus hybrids who have chosen the most respectful to the environment vehicle” emphasises Pascal Ruch, “this approach fits into the development of new services for the satisfaction of our clients”.
